What is Pilates?

Pilates is a system of exercises formally known as “Contrology”. The system was designed more than 100 years ago. The classical Pilates system developed by Joseph H Pilates was created to achieve overall longevity. Individuals learn the difference between balance, strength, and flexibility while stabilizing their movements through their core. The benefits of Pilates are too long to list see clientele testimonies for its proven track record. Pilates is sought after by professional athletes and nonprofessionals for its proven history of creating longevity.

What is Yoga?

Evolve Pilates Yoga lessons are taught only in private to prevent overstretching. Yoga began in 3000 BC, its original intention was to develop harmony between heart and soul. At EP365 we teach a modern version commonly called athletic style, therefore privates are the way to go to prevent injuries. You may form your own group class which requires a minimum of 10 participants.

What is the Body Assessment?

The studio assessment helps the instructor determine your current level of fitness and create a personalized plan to help you reach your personal goals. This is what sets EP365 apart in the fitness industry. At EP365 we recognize that tailoring a fitness program and our clients' goals are not one-size-fits-all. During the assessment, the instructor is communicating with you as well as watches how your body responds.

Assessing and measuring several things
Imbalances in the body.
Stressors in the body
Where strength needs to be increased.
Where length (Stretch) is needed in muscle tissue.
Where your core (powerhouse) is connecting to both mind and body.
The above criteria is assessed by a senior instructor to aid and place clients in appropriate group classes, apparatus (equipment), Evolve 365 Circuit, Tower Mat Classes, Private, and semi-private lessons.
